2022 -2026
Service and sisterhood have been the foundation of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® since 1908. Guided by the theme Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood, the 2022–2026 administration continues this rich legacy by mobilizing over 120,000 active members to lead in change, education, and advocacy.
With a focus on strengthening our bonds as the foundation of our mission, our initiatives are designed to uplift communities, promote economic empowerment, advocate for social justice, and drive meaningful change. Through collective action and leadership, we remain committed to making a lasting impact.
We are especially proud that our very own Kimberley R. Will, Vice President of the Omega Xi Omega Chapter, also serves as the International Programs Chairman. In this pivotal dual role, she supports chapter operations while simultaneously guiding the global execution of the Sorority’s international programs—ensuring alignment, impact, and excellence at every level.

Strengthen Our Sisterhood
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is committed to cultivating a strong, supportive sisterhood that serves as the foundation for its enduring legacy. By prioritizing fellowship, respect, and shared purpose, the sorority fosters lifelong bonds while continuing its mission of service. Key Initiatives Efforts include AKA Soror Squads, which strengthen sisterhood through small, intimate groups centered around common interests and activities. AKA Pals create cross-regional relationships to enhance fellowship and connection. Random Acts of Sisterliness encourage spontaneous gestures of care and kindness among members. “We Are One” AKA Service Day unites sorority members annually on MLK Day to serve their communities together. Additionally, the Leadership Development program provides engaging and high-impact opportunities for members at all stages to enhance their leadership skills.

Environmental Sustainability
Empower Our Families
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is committed to strengthening families, the foundation of healthy communities. Through a multi-generational approach, we address child hunger, support youth development, promote mental well-being, and enhance senior life. We also provide food and meals to children in need. In addition, our chapter focuses on environmental sustainability through initiatives such as tree planting, community and home gardens, and waste reduction. We also host an annual Shredding and Electronics Recycling Day to safely dispose of electronic devices and reduce landfill waste.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. empowers communities through advocacy, education, and action. We promote social justice and equity by providing tools and resources to inspire self-help and civic engagement. Our initiatives highlight women of color in political leadership and create pathways for those aspiring to public service. Key Initiatives Our focus includes voter education, registration, and mobilization, fostering community advocacy during elections. We host Public Policy and Candidate Forums to encourage non-partisan discussions on social justice and policy. Additionally, Public Servant’s Guides spotlight women leaders and provide pathways for political involvement.

Environmental Sustainability
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority leverages its strength to create a significant environmental impact through sustainable practices. By prioritizing education and engagement, the sorority empowers individuals and communities to adopt eco-friendly habits and reduce household waste. Workshops and seminars promote sustainability, fostering collective action to improve and protect the environment. Key Initiatives Efforts include a large-scale tree planting initiative, creating community and home gardens to encourage sustainable agriculture, and hosting Shredding and Electronics Recycling Days to responsibly dispose of electronics and paper waste. These activities aim to reduce environmental impact and inspire long-term stewardship.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority has long been a leader in promoting social justice, fairness, and equity. By highlighting African American and other women of color in political leadership, we inspire and create pathways for future women leaders in politics. Key Initiatives Our efforts focus on voter education, registration, and mobilization, equipping communities to drive change during elections. With over 1,074 chapters worldwide, we celebrate excellence, service, and collaboration to showcase best practices that inspire meaningful community transformation. Key Initiatives Programs include awards for chapters making exceptional local impact, recognition for collaborative efforts that maximize community service outcomes, and grants supporting notable service projects led by individual chapters or partnerships.
